Thursday, February 11th meeting was held virtually via MSTeams due to COVID-19 

Review/Approve Minutes from Jan 14th Board mtg 

  • Board reviewed and approved minutes from the January 14th, 2021 Board Mtg

  • Agreed that we will wait until the launch of the new website to post December and January Board Meeting minutes on-line

RECAP / NOTES from January Meeting

  • OPEN: Publish minutes from December meetings on the VLPNO website

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to send 2021 Annual Budget to the Board members

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to draft letter addressing our concern and requesting that they include a restrictive covenant that excludes target group.

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to reach out to Glen Cameron for legal advice and legalese language of the letter.

  • COMPLETE: Kevin to send final letter to the City no later than Monday, January 18th.

  • Kevin to reach out to OLP and LT to bring them on-board to our approach

  • OPEN: Identify Modernism Week 2022 VLPNO Home Tour Captain

  • OPEN: Kermit to recruit volunteer neighbors and create committee for the Block Ambassador project

  • COMPLETE: Steve, Scott, Gustav and Rick to have follow-up call of new Communication Committee.

  • COMPLETE: Patsy to provide contact information for Caitlin Kearney, web specialist to assist with creation of new VLPNO website

  • OPEN: Scott and Patsy to work on new VLPNO mission statement

  • COMPLETE: VLPNO Board members to submit Top 3 initiatives to Kermit so that he can affinitize and Board can agree on projects for 2021

  • COMPLETE: Kermit to send out Calendar Invite to the Board along with a MSTeams meeting invite for February 11th Board Meeting

Treasurer’s Report

  • Kevin sent January via email prior to the meeting and gave the following update:

  • January reporting included

    • Account Reconciliation

    • Income Statement

    • Chase Bank Statement

  • Report on additional donations that came through in January.

  • VLPNO Tax Filings: In an attempt to disclose our miss and true up our on our missing filings to the State of California, Kevin and GBQ CPA submitted a voluntary non disclosure. It was rejected. We will proceed with filings by the VLPNO.

  • Kermit reminded the Board that the VLP Neighborhood Annual Insurance Policy premium is due in March.
